Methods and systems for evangelism in the West have never been in short supply, yet we have witnessed a general impotence to impact our world with the Gospel. Why is this?

Keys to effective evangelism are not found in applied methodology or systems alone. The keys that will unlock the barred entrances to human hearts are rooted in divine principles; these principles have the power to deliver. These principles must connect with, engage, and drive our methods. They not only undergird and give shape to the evangelistic effort, they also mould Christian character.

A sustainable approach to evangelism does not then depend primarily upon the programme or technique used. To be consistent and ultimately effective in winning people over to faith - a process that will take time and investment - believers need to discover and operate from a more enduring source of strength.
